Hello and welcome! I’m Wuwei Yuan (袁无为), a first-year computer science master’s and doctorate student at ETH Zürich in Rasmus Kyng and Maximilian Probst Gutenberg’s group. In June 2024, I finished my undergraduate studies at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences (IIIS, aka. Yao Class), Tsinghua. During the spring and summer of 2023, I had a wonderful research visit at the University of Michigan, advised by Prof. Thatchaphol Saranurak.

My main research interest lies in fast graph algorithms and other topics within algorithm design. I am especially interested in:

  • Fast graph algorithms using either discrete or continuous methods
  • Versatile techniques for fast graph algorithms

Feel free to contact me!

We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard; because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one we intend to win, and the others, too.
